First demonstrator installed

The BOOSTER project has successfully manufactured and installed the first of its three planned demonstrators. The installation was completed on time, and monitoring has already begun.

The first BOOSTER demonstrator is now live at one of FAU’s car parks — a 35 m² cutting-edge organic photovoltaic (OPV) façade designed for real-world performance monitoring. This installation marks another step toward merging architecture and renewable energy, transforming existing structures into energy-generating assets.

Key facts:
🔹 Module design & façade integration tailored to the building’s specific conditions
🔹 Overall design, technical system development, electrical & mechanical system by ASCA
🔹 Module manufacture by ASCA using Raynergy Tek Incorporation’s proprietary green donor polymer
🔹 Installation & monitoring by FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg — power output to be tracked for at least one year for performance insights

This milestone highlights the strong collaboration between our partners, resulting in a façade-integrated demonstrator with a module design perfectly adapted to the building. It’s a clear example of how teamwork turns innovative ideas into tangible results.
