BOOSTER factsheet has been published!

Did you know that organic photovoltaic (OPV) is a technology that addresses the problematic of global energy production with an eco-responsible approach?

In fact, manufacturing OPV modules via printing techniques features a low energy-payback-time and uses resources that are abundant, easily accessible, and non-toxic. In addition, recent technology benefited from a rapid progress of performances with development of advanced materials.

In this framework, the EU-funded BOOSTER project aims at increasing efficiency and lifetime of OPV technology, together with optimizing costs and lowering carbon footprint. BOOSTER will provide an efficient multi-layer OPV architecture and will manufacture advanced multifunctional barrier films to increase their lifetime.

The two demonstrators – a “ready to stick module” and an integrated product – will be installed in ENI in Italy and FAU in Germany. If you are eager to know more about the project, you can download the BOOSTER factsheet here!
