Design Meets Sustainability: BOOSTER at the Climate Neutrality Conference

Last month, our project partner ASCA participated in the 8th International Climate Neutrality Conference, held on 22–23 September 2025 at the Alsion Concert Hall in Sønderborg, Denmark.

Organized by the University of Southern Denmark (Syddansk Universitet) in collaboration with ProjectZero Sønderborg and partners from the Danish-German border region, the conference gathered leading experts, policymakers, and innovators to discuss pathways toward achieving 100% climate neutrality.

The event featured sessions on marine sustainability, carbon capture, plastic pollution, and renewable energy technologies, highlighting practical solutions for a greener and more sustainable future.

Representing BOOSTER, Dr. Sebastian Meier from ASCA GmbH & Co. KG delivered a presentation titled “Organic Photovoltaics – Aesthetics Meets Energy” during the session “Sustainable Materials and Energy for a Greener Transition.” His talk showcased the latest innovations in organic photovoltaic (OPV) technology, including next-generation BOOSTER Gen#2 modules, and demonstrated how OPV can integrate seamlessly into architectural design, combining functionality with aesthetics.

The Climate Neutrality Conference once again served as an important platform for exchanging ideas, presenting best practices, and fostering collaboration toward Europe’s goal of climate neutrality.
