Beyond Progress: BOOSTER Partners Unite in Novara
Despite the summer heat, BOOSTER partners gathered last week in Novara, Italy, for the project’s half-yearly consortium meeting, kindly hosted by Eni. The meeting provided an important opportunity to review progress, align on upcoming activities, and prepare for the final phase of the project.
The consortium discussed the latest developments across key technical and demonstration activities. Particular attention was given to the ongoing work in Novara, where the project’s second demonstraot takes place. Partners also reviewed progress on sustainability-related activities aimed at supporting the long-term reliability and impact of BOOSTER’s innovative OPV solutions.
Another highlight of the meeting was the discussion of the BOOSTER Design Contest, which has brought fresh ideas and creative perspectives to the project. The consortium also agreed on the framework for the Final Dissemination Event, planned for this autumn, where BOOSTER will showcase its results, achievements, and expected impact to a broad audience.
Communication and dissemination activities were another key topic on the agenda. Partners reflected on the project’s growing visibility through participation in major industry events and celebrated the continued growth of the BOOSTER online community.
To wrap up the meeting, partners visited Eni’s laboratories and the BOOSTER second demo site in Novara, where ongoing activities are bringing the project’s innovative solutions closer to practical application. The visit offered a valuable opportunity to see the latest developments first-hand, exchange ideas with the teams involved, and gain a deeper understanding of the progress achieved so far.
The consortium was pleased to welcome John Fahlteich, member of the BOOSTER External Advisory Board, who shared valuable feedback and insights to support the project’s final steps.
BOOSTER would like to extend its sincere thanks to the entire Eni team for their warm hospitality and excellent organization of the meeting.
As BOOSTER enters its final stretch, partners remain focused on delivering impactful results and bringing innovative organic photovoltaic solutions closer to real-world deployment.
Stay tuned – exciting developments are still ahead.
